1. Age Restrictions: While tooth gems are generally safe, it is recommended that children under the age of 18 do not get tooth gems. This is because young children’s teeth and oral health are still developing, and it’s essential to prioritize their dental care. To get a Tooth Gem from Blazing Spa you have to be 18+

2. Orthodontic Treatment: If you are currently undergoing orthodontic treatment, it is advisable to wait until the treatment is complete before getting tooth gems. This ensures that the gems won’t interfere with the progress of your orthodontic work.

3. Crowns or False Teeth: Tooth gems can only be affixed to natural teeth and are not suitable for use on crowns or false teeth. If you have dental restorations such as crowns or false teeth, tooth gems cannot be applied to them. Also, If you are currently wearing a retainer or invisalign.

When correctly applied to a natural tooth, the tooth jewelry will not cause any harm or damage to your tooth. Your dental health remains our utmost concern, and our application process is designed to ensure the safety and integrity of your teeth.
 
 
Does the Tooth Crystal Obstruct Regular Brushing?
No, having a tooth crystal will not interfere with your regular dental hygiene routine. You can continue to brush your teeth as usual. However, it’s advisable to avoid using an electric toothbrush for the first 24 hours after the jewel has been attached. This precaution helps ensure that the jewel remains securely in place during the initial bonding period. Afterward, you can resume your regular dental care without any issues.


Tooth Gem Pre Appointment Checklist 

•	Eat something before your appointment. You will need to wait a minimum of one hour after the gem placement to eat in order for the tooth gem to set and cure properly.
•	Avoid acidic drinks and foods for at least 2 hours before the tooth gem appointment. For example, citrus drinks or food such as oranges.
•	Clean your teeth well before your appointment so that the area is free of any food or buildup before the application of the gem. Your tooth/teeth will be cleaned and prepped by the Technician as well.
